Checks an IP address or the server behind a domain against widely used DNS blacklists. If your sending server is listed, your email is more likely to land in spam or be rejected.
What this tool does
The tool resolves the domain to its IP and queries several well-known DNS blacklists such as Spamhaus and SpamCop. Per list you see whether the address is listed.
How to use it
Enter an IP address or domain and run the check. If you are on a list, request delisting with that party.
Input and output
- Input: an IP address or domain name
- Output: per blacklist whether the address is listed
Limitations
The tool checks a fixed set of widely used lists, not every existing blacklist. A clean result does not guarantee perfect deliverability.
Good to know
A listing often comes from an infected computer on your network or a misconfigured mail server, so fix the cause before requesting delisting. Otherwise you will be listed again within a day.
